This direct-injection engine is Turbocharged (T) and typically Intercooled to maximize air density and combustion efficiency. In excavator applications, it generally delivers a net power output between 165 kW and 177 kW (220 hp to 240 hp) at 2000 RPM, with industrial ratings capable of reaching up to 300 hp. It produces exceptional low-end torque, peaking around 873 Nm (644 lb-ft) at 1600 RPM, ensuring reliable performance under high load conditions.
