The engine delivers a versatile power output typically ranging from 110 kW to 149 kW (148 hp to 200 hp) at a rated speed of 2000 RPM. It offers exceptional lugging capability with peak torque reserves around 800 Nm to 940 Nm (590 to 693 lb-ft) at 1500 RPM. The SAA6D107E-1 meets EPA Tier 3 / EU Stage IIIA standards, while the upgraded SAA6D107E-2 meets EPA Tier 4 Interim / EU Stage IIIB standards through the integration of a Komatsu Diesel Particulate Filter (KDPF) and exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) systems.
