The Volvo D6E is a powerful inline 6-cylinder, 4-stroke diesel engine engineered for high-demand construction and industrial environments. It features a displacement of 5.7 Liters (5700 cc) with a bore of 98 mm and a stroke of 126 mm. The engine utilizes the Volvo Advanced Combustion Technology (V-ACT) system and a high-pressure common rail fuel injection system to ensure optimal fuel efficiency and precise power delivery. Typically Turbocharged and Air-to-Air Intercooled, the D6E produces a power output ranging from 115 kW to 129 kW (154 hp to 173 hp) at a rated speed of 1800–2000 RPM. It delivers substantial torque, peaking between 730 Nm and 1050 Nm at low RPMs (approx. 1350–1500 RPM), and is designed to meet Tier 3 / Stage IIIA emission standards.
