The Cummins QST30 is a heavy-duty V12, 4-stroke industrial diesel engine known for its extreme durability in mining and construction applications. It features a massive displacement of 30.5 Liters (1861 cu in) with a bore of 140 mm (5.51 in) and a stroke of 165 mm (6.50 in). Utilizing the Quantum System electronic controls and a high-pressure injection system, it delivers precise performance management. This engine is typically Turbocharged Aftercooled (TA) or Two-Stage Turbocharged, offering a broad power output range from 567 kW to 1119 kW (760 hp to 1500 hp) at a rated speed of 1800–2100 RPM. It generates exceptional torque, peaking between 3750 lb-ft and 4877 lb-ft at 1300–1400 RPM, making it ideal for high-load environments.
