The Cummins QST30 is a high-output 4-cycle industrial diesel engine featuring a robust V12 (50-degree Vee) cylinder configuration. It delivers a massive displacement of 30.5 Liters (1860 cu in) with a bore of 140 mm (5.51 in) and a stroke of 165 mm (6.50 in). Designed for extreme-duty mining and power generation environments, this platform utilizes the Quantum electronic fuel system or Modular Common Rail System (MCRS) to optimize combustion. The engine is typically Turbocharged Aftercooled (TA) or Two-Stage Turbocharged (TTA), producing a power output ranging from 760 hp to 1500 hp (567 kW to 1119 kW) at a rated speed of 1800–2100 RPM. It offers exceptional torque capabilities, peaking between 3750 lb-ft and 4877 lb-ft at 1300–1400 RPM.
