This engine utilizes a turbocharged air-to-air intercooled system and an electronically controlled high-pressure fuel injection system managed by the EMS2 controller for optimized fuel efficiency. It typically produces a power output between 138 kW and 153 kW (185 hp to 208 hp) at a rated speed of 1800–1900 RPM. Designed for substantial lugging capability, it delivers peak torque ranging from 870 Nm to 965 Nm at 1400 RPM and is compliant with Tier 2 / Stage II emission standards.
