It features a massive displacement of 23.15 Liters (1413 cu in) with a square cylinder design utilizing a bore of 170 mm (6.69 in) and a stroke of 170 mm (6.69 in). This engine platform employs a Turbocharged Aftercooled (Air-to-Air or Air-to-Water) aspiration system and a direct injection fuel system for optimized power delivery. Depending on the application, power output ranges from 390 kW to 550 kW (523 hp to 738 hp) at a rated speed of 1800 to 2000 RPM. Designed for durability, the 170-series offers exceptional torque characteristics and is compliant with Tier 2 and Euro Stage II emissions regulations.
