This engine utilizes Mechanically Actuated Electronic Unit Injection (MEUI) or ACERT technology to optimize performance and fuel efficiency. The platform is Turbocharged Aftercooled (TA), delivering a power output range of 328 kW to 444 kW (440 hp to 595 hp) at a rated speed of 1800–2100 RPM. Designed for high-torque applications, it provides exceptional lugging capability with peak torque reaching approximately 2717 Nm (2004 lb-ft) at 1400 RPM, meeting various Tier 3/Stage IIIA or Tier 4 Final emission standards depending on the specific configuration.
