Engineered with ACERT Technology and a direct injection combustion system, the C18 delivers optimal performance across variable conditions. It is typically Turbocharged Aftercooled (TA) or Twin Turbocharged Aftercooled (TTA), providing a power output range of 429 kW to 597 kW (575 hp to 800 hp) at a rated speed of 1800–2100 RPM. The engine offers exceptional torque capabilities, reaching up to 3710 Nm (2736 lb-ft) at 1300 RPM, depending on the specific Tier rating and configuration.
